The film, directed by Zak Levitt and produced by Dion Cocoros, premiered in April 2014 and chronicled the Detroit Pistons of the late 1980s and early 90s whose willingness to do anything to win made them both loved and hated. “Winning an NAACP Image Award is a tremendous honor,” said John Dahl. “A diverse range of content and storytellers are top priorities for us. Our collaboration with NBA Entertainment on Bad Boys couldn’t have been more rewarding in every way.
