The show analyzes not only what is remembered as one of the best college bowl games in history but also the tremendous hype surrounding it, and it includes interviews with USC fan Snoop Dogg and Texas alum Matthew McConaughey, along with coaches and players. The game pitted undefeated USC and quarterback Matt Leinart against undefeated Texas and quarterback Vince Young. USC was ranked No. 1 in the country and Texas was ranked No. 2, and four players from that game were Top 10 picks in the 2006 NFL draft. Texas beat USC 41-38 in a dramatic come-from-behind victory. “We wanted to win by 30, 40 points and celebrate and dance and do what we do, and have the sideline full of celebrities that were enjoying the game,” says Snoop Dogg. “I’m still in misery over that game.”
